Permitted for use in direct burial applications such as exposed or concealed wiring in damp, moist, wet, dry, and corrosive locations as specified by the NEC. Southwire underground feeder cable can be used in applications such as general branch wiring, new wiring, and replacement wiring. Southwire type UF is a thermoplastic non-metallic sheathed cable. Solid copper conductor. Type TW conductor insulation color-coded with thermoplastic overall jacket. UF thermoplastic insulated 60°C wet or dry locations. UFb thermoplastic insulated with conductors rated at 90°C.
